Cynthia & Willem 

We met five years ago and talking was so easy that we knew we needed to meet. We set a date and time and we ventured into the city for our first date at Soul Bar, we hit it off straight away and the rest is history. 

5 years worth of memories later and we’ve traveled to the US, and explored much of NZ. Long hikes where "it's not that hard you'll love it" was often said, and the payoff has been some of the most beautiful, spectacular views of NZ that can only be reached by pushing us way out of our comfort zones.

On a family trip to Wellington Alex was the first to know about the upcoming proposal plans. On our morning excursion up on the cable car, we sat on benches overlooking the city and enjoying the serenity of the moment. Alex couldn't hold it in any longer and looked at Cynthia and said " My dad has a question for you" Willem with a surprised look on his face looked and realized this was the moment to pop the question. This was not the original plan as he wanted to do it at Zealandia but Alex is adamant that he had chosen the best spot to propose!

We can’t wait for the next exciting chapter to begin: traveling as a married couple to Europa, USA, Japan and Mexico!!!!
